Minutes of Board of Trustees Emergency Meeting

July 19, 2008

7:30 A.M.

Call to order:  The meeting was called to order at 7:34 A.M.

Board Members Present:  Supervisor Adams, Clerk Husby, Treasurer Thelen, and Trustees: Weitzel, Mitchell, Maahs.  Zay absent with notice.  Staff present: Tubbs

New Business:

1.   Sinkhole in the parking lot.  A memo was handed out that described the preliminary work completed by Cadwell Construction.  The memo indicated estimated cost for Cadwell Construction; Granger Landfill fees; asphalt costs; and a contingency for unexpected costs.

      The total estimated to complete the project was $49,000.

      Motion by Thelen and seconded by Maahs to approve the construction needed to fix the township parking lot by removing the buried building materials from the old school that lead to the sink holes, as overseen by the township manager in an amount not to exceed $49.000 charged to account number 265-000.931.001 with additional funds as needed from the building & grounds reserve.
