The Township Administrator works directly with the Supervisor and the Board of Trustees, and is responsible for the administration of all of the departments of the township. The Administrator's Office is also responsible for the following:
Stormwater Management Information
You need to fill out two applications for a water permit and one for a sewer permit. All three need to be turned into the Administrator's department. The water permit will cost $2,200.00 per residential r.e.u. and the sewer permit will cost $3,570.00 per residential r.e.u. due at the time you are dropping off the permit applications. Lansing Board of Water and Light charges their own fees for water installation on top of our $2,200.00 permit fee. They are also in charge of all water billings.

The Board of Review meets to review property assessments, hear assessment appeals, and make any needed corrections to the assessment roll. In addition, they may meet to be advised on assessments, assessment appeals and to sign documents, certificates, affidavits, etc. The Board is also responsible to hear local appeals on approvals and denials of homestead exemption issues.

The cemetery board is responsible for the development of policy and operating procedures which are carried out by the sexton under the general management and supervision of the clerk and/or township manager.

The Clerk's Office is responsible for maintaining all official records of the Township including ordinances, resolutions, contracts and correspondence. As a voting member of the Board of Trustees, the Clerk also prepares and maintains Board minutes and agendas. The Clerk's Office is responsible for administering Elections, voter registrations, and maintaining the Michigan Qualified Voter File. Other responsibilities of the Clerk include acting as the Township's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) coordinator, accounts payable, general accounting, and providing general information to Township residents.

you would like (summer or winter). You may also choose between
Homestead or Non-Homestead, this is the same thing as P.R.E.
